PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
A CIVIL marriage performed by a Mexican Justice of the Peace in
Mexico is valid for most countries. USA and Canadian state/province
laws generally recognize a Mexican marriage; however it remains
your responsibility to inquire with your own County, Province and/or
State and we strongly suggest you do this to ensure your country’s
or state’s laws recognize marriages performed outside of their jurisdictions.
CATHOLIC weddings are official and generally do
not require a Mexican civil marriage to be recorded in the USA or
Canada; however, we strong suggest you check with your state's Bureau
of Vital Statistics to verify this information since each jurisdiction
has different laws and regulations.
